As the digital economy continues to evolve, the government and the party have imposed higher developmental demands, elevating data to the status of the fifth production factor due to its amplifying and multiplier effects on capital, land, talent, and technology, making it a vital component of new quality productivity. This signifies a deepening phase for data-driven economic development, accompanied by heightened expectations and substantial challenges, necessitating an understanding of the relationship between humans and data, and mobilizing the efforts of the entire society and various industries to contribute to the construction of the data element market.
Founded in 1980, DAMA International is a non-profit association consisting of global volunteers specializing in data management and business practices, dedicated to advancing the study and implementation of data management. DAMA China, officially established in2007, serves as a platform for communication among DAMA members in China and a broad range of data management professionals.
The International Institute for Advanced Data & Management Studies (IIADMS), or International High-Level Academy of Data Science in brief, is a non-profit, specialized research institution co-founded by Mr. Hu Boli, the current chairman of DAMA China, among others.
The Global 50 Forum on Data Elements, relying on DAMA China, IIADMS, and other entities, constitutes an international platform for the exchange of data management theories and practices.
To further facilitate the development of the dataelement market, DAMA China, IIADMS, and the Global 50 Forum on Data Elements have jointly initiated the Global Data Elements Promotion Committee. The aim is to establish an ecosystem for knowledge exchange, experience sharing, and collaborative development, thereby enhancing the knowledge systems, resource complementarity, technological innovation, and interdisciplinary talent cultivation among member organizations.
We sincerely invite your esteemed institution to join us as a founding member of the Global Data Elements Promotion Committee, working hand in hand with leading organizations in the industry to propel the continuous enhancement of our digital capabilities and innovation, collectively driving the new transformations in the digital economy era and contributing to the construction of Digital China.
